Flu vaccination program 2021-22
Posted on 9 Sep 2021
The practice will shortly begin the Flu Vaccination programme for the year 2021-2022. The Practice will be responsible for vaccinating all patients aged 70 years and above as well as all patients aged between 16 -70 years, who are considered to be Clinically Extremely Vulnerable (C.E.V.) previously shielding during covid pandemic. All other eligible patients will be vaccinated at centrally based clinics out with the Practice.
All vaccinations for the Flu will be by appointment only. Patients can book online for specific flu clinics based on the above criteria. For this facility patients will need to be registered for online services, if you are not already registered please email your request to be registered for this service to firstname.lastname@example.org
Those patients being vaccinated centrally will receive an invitation to attend directly from the central vaccinating team. We will have no involvement in this process at the practice.
COVID-19 VACCINATION BOOSTER PROGRAMME
At this time the Practice is awaiting confirmation from the Scottish Government of the details of any Covid-19 Booster Vaccination programme. As soon as we are made aware of what is happening we will advise accordingly.
