Voluntary Hospital Cars Posted or Updated on 23 Jul 2025

Sadly with effect from the end of July 2025 the voluntary hospital car service will no longer be available.

The team have tried to get volunteer co-ordinators and also volunteer drivers over the last number of months without success.

We would like to thank them whole heartedly for their excellent work over the years.

If patients are eligible for the patient transport service they can use that, otherwise there are no other options besides public transport and friends/relatives.
